Nina Shelton is Founder and President of the startup Crossing Barriers Media, a scripted film production company. No stranger to media, she is an award-winning producer, writer and director having worked for HBO, Hallmark Channel, PBS, Disney and others.

 

 

She's developed and created over a dozen of scripted and unscripted content, and has produced hundreds of hours of programming.

 

Nina was a fellow recipient of the American Film Institute (AFI) Digital Content Lab. She was also a New Media Fellow with the National Black Programming Consortium through the Corporation of Public Broadcasting.

 

Nina is currently a PBS producer with Arizona Public Media in Tucson, while earning a Masters in Entrepreneurship with the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona. She received a BFA from New York University.
