Oversee production on live audience shows for online or television. Work with departments throughout the University assessing their programming needs, planning and preparing crew and equipment needs, screening and booking guests and writing scripts.

AMERICAN HISTORY TV - C-SPAN        1/2017 - 9/2019

Produce history programming for weekend block on C-SPAN3. Work with major national organizations including the National Archives, Library of Congress, Smithsonian, the White House Historical Association and other museums, libraries, and historic other sites to create programming that highlights the people, places and events that tell stories of the history of America.

What Matters – produced a newsmagazine series and one-hour special. Received Emmy-nomination as a result of producing news stories based upon current issues at both the national and international levels. Wrote scripts. Conducted in-depth search for interview candidates. Successfully gained interviews with hard to reach subjects such as Bosnian refugees, Columbine school violence victims, depression sufferers, Rwandan survivors. Emmy nomination.

 

SESAME WORKSHOP                                           9/1990 – 5/1998

Worked on various shows including the PBS series Sesame Street. Promoted from within to Producer of the Cartoon Network series Big Bag. Produced a block of programming with 6 different short-length animated series with co-producers from around the world, as well as a live action/muppet wrap around resulting in a Parent’s Choice Award and outstanding reviews.
